Inge Hansen

I’m accredited to facilitate the 12 Hour Standard Mental Health first Aid course which is designed for adults helping adults in any situation. In addition to this I can provide the Blended Online Community/Workplaces courses which are delivered entirely online. This means that staff who are unable to meet face to face can participate in this vital training from anywhere around Australia. The focus of the Blended Online Workplace course is helping our colleagues and staff to recognise and support each other to get through difficult mental health problems. As a manager myself I understand the needs of balancing priorities between expectations of a Board, expectations of staff and expectations of our clients. I’m told I have a calming manner which helps support good discussion. In my role as a workplace mediator I help people reach agreement and understanding about all sorts of workplace conflicts. I am Co-Founder of Augmenting Workplaces providing services to enhance all aspects of your workplace. I’ve run small business in publishing and currently CEO of a not for profit incorporated association in the arts sector. Most of my experience involves working directly with diverse clients through interacting with the general public and I have supported staff and clients experiencing times of poor mental health. Education & Qualifications My qualifications include: *Bachelor of Arts (hons) *National Accredited Mediator

My facilitation style is inclusive and respectful. I am Co-Founder of Augmenting Workplaces, providing services to enhance all aspects of your workplace. I’m a PACFA Provisional Registered Counsellor in private practice DaveSegal.com, and the Director at Mental Health Intervention Skills Training. I strongly believe in the MHFA model and will continue to enjoy facilitating courses for humans from all walks of life. I have been a volunteer educator with MIEACT (mieact.org.au) where I visited high schools in Canberra to reduce stigma, raise awareness of mental health problems, discuss the importance of early intervention and help seeking. I have diverse life skills and experience assisting people of all ages with a range of mental health problems including 10 years in university student residences.
